Flood Relief Work
 
In response to the devastating floods in Pakistan, FIDA has partnered with IRD, Oxfam GB and others to provide immediate relief to those affected in Dera Ismail Khan. After the initial disaster response, FIDA will work with partners and communities to develop plans for rehabilitation, reconstruction and development.
Highlights From the Last Month:
- 8,800 families registered
- 4,148,500 litres of drinking water provided
- 5 water tankers engaged
- 60 standing water tanks established
- 150 bathing spaces constructed
- 65 soak pits constructed
- 4 water supply schemes rehabilitated
- 92,800 water purification sachets distributed
- 6,800 Hygiene Kits distributed
- 6,300 Household Kits distributed
- 323 Shelter Kits distributed
- 312 Health and Hygiene sessions carried out by Public Health Promoters
- 9 schools provided with WASH facilities
- 2 de-watering pumps installed
- 1 town clean up underway
